Resurfacing or replacement?

Resurfacing retains pavement that is still suitable to support a new surface. Replacement removes failed material and can correct problems deeper in the pavement structure. The choice depends on condition, levels and future loading.

Put the guidance to work

Investigate alligator cracking, rutting, settlement and recurring repairs before requesting an overlay. Compare alternatives over the expected use of the property, including disruption, drainage corrections and maintenance needs.

Build a site-specific scope

A site assessment should connect visible symptoms with drainage, loading and the underlying structure. Confirm quantities, materials, work windows and acceptance requirements before comparing proposals. General guidance cannot replace project-specific investigation or required engineering.
